Membership is a thoughtful gift for anyone interested in Irish Palatine history. By choosing a Gift Membership you are passing on and sharing the wonderful history of the Irish Palatines. The Association has worked to help protect and heighten awareness of the Irish Palatine story, not just amongst those of Irish Palatine heritage internationally but also others who are interested throughout the world. The Association's main focus is in providing a legacy of material that will enrich the survival of this unique story for future generations to come. Our buildings and maintenance of our exhibition and library, the production of our annual Journal with a collection of illustrated stories from those of Palatine heritage around the world are all key factors in doing this work and our website is a link to our Irish Palatine family worldwide. OUR DETAILS Just fill the membership form giving the name and details of the person to whom you would like to give the Gift Membership. Through membership, the recipient will receive our annual journal and be notified of any planned event, group tour or gathering to do with the Irish Palatine Association. An additional or alternative gift could be a book from our Bookshop. Members have free admission to the Irish Palatine Heritage Centre where Palatine artefacts and the Irish Palatine story is told in detail. Access to the members-only area of the IPA website, containing a growing list of useful articles and research materials. Facilitation of family gatherings in Rathkeale. Local tours and advice on Rathkeale's historical sites. We are currently unable to carry out genealogical research, but we may be able to put members in touch with others who share a specific interest, perhaps a particular family name. Where a Gift of Membership is received in the course of the year, all published literature for the prior part of the year is mailed at the time of receipt.
